In addition, Parkland's Farmington campus offers a full continuum of inpatient and medical-surgical and intensive care, obstetrics and emergency services, along with a wide variety of outpatient services including oncology services, an infusion center, a wound care clinic, and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center. The registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) works within the interprofessional team and with the patient and family providing medical nutrition therapy (MNT); and conducts nutrition assessment, intervention, education, discharge planning, and care coordination to address prevention and treatment of one or more acute or chronic conditions or diseases.
