Leadership/Teamwork and Team Development Delegates authority to key team members in safety, finance, production, maintenance, processing, quality control, production control, shipping, and other related operations and administrative functions Coordinate plant activities through planning with other members of the plant management team to ensure plant objectives are met in an effective and efficient manner Provide leadership and mentoring to accomplish plant/quarry goals and objectives Provide direction, development, encourage collaboration, and leadership to all plant/quarry staff members Be a positive leader that encourages cross-functional communication between the teams Track Key Performance indicators to measure progress of goals Provide feedback to direct reports on daily projects Establish processes for SAP including training of team members Good public speaking skills Must be able to create and communicate a power point presentation to the workforce with confidence concerning the state of the business. Must be physically able to perform work assigned Must be physically capable of accessing all plant/quarry locations Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels Will be working in an office environment, mining, clay, and mineral processing environment The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold temperatures, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Metallic Particles The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking on uneven surfaces, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting Able to lift up to 50 pounds Travel up to 20% as needed.
