p>Work off computer drawings for articles to be fabricated Sets up and operates woodworking machines such as power saws, jointer to cut as required Trims component parts of joints to ensure snug fit Bores holes for inserts, pins and screws Glues, fits, and clamps parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit Drives fasteners into joints at designated places to reinforce joints Installs hardware such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls Other duties may be assigned. Preferred Education, Skills and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
