This position is primarily responsible for assisting with opening new deposits, selling additional products to customers and prospects and supporting the overall sales efforts of the bank. The potential to understand and effectively apply selling techniques to open, develop and close a sale; must be able to create interest in a product and actively cross-sell other products and services.
This role performs a wide range of transaction‑related duties, including processing deposits and withdrawals, cashing checks, issuing official checks, handling various payments, managing coin orders and bankcard cash advances, and providing account information as requested. Job Responsibilities: The Universal Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional service by adhering to all established bank policies and procedures while maintaining a strong working knowledge of Capitol Bank's products and services to effectively cross‑sell and support customer needs.
