Assistant Mechanic TroonAssistant MechanicNovato, California$25–$30 / hourPay: $25 - $30 Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Assisting with routine maintenance and repair of golf course equipment• Assisting with reel and bed knife grinding and cutting unit set up• Daily equipment and cutting unit checks for next day use• Using hand tools safely and correctly• Performing oil changes, blade maintenance, lubrication, and inspection• Assisting with troubleshooting and repair of mechanical issues under supervision• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment• Supporting daily equipment readiness for course operation• Ability to help with maintenance of the golf course in the morning when extra help is needed (ex. Working alongside an experienced Head Mechanic, the Assistant Mechanic will be exposed to all aspects of maintaining and repairing golf course equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, sprayers, tractors, and small engines.
