The successful candidate is responsible for working with administrative staff regarding overseeing all recruiting efforts, scheduling of practice, training, competition, equipment, including uniforms, travel arrangements, budget management, meal accommodations, supervision and evaluation of assistant coaches, fundraising, speaking engagements, short and long term planning, and upholding the departmental university mission statements. The successful candidate will assist the Athletic Director with all phases of a Division 1 intercollegiate Softball program including instruction and training of student-athletes in on-field operations, physical and mental player development, motivation, mentorship, instilling disciplines and developing technical skills through quality practice and excellent communication.
