Required Education:Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, Photography, or related field Preferred Certifications:Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) in Visual Design using Adobe Photoshop Additional certifications in digital imaging, color management, or UX design (highly preferred)Required Experience & Skills:At least three years of professional experience in graphic design or photo editing at a leading creative agency, studio, or tech company5+ years of dedicated, advanced Adobe Photoshop experience in a professional settingPrior experience with high-volume image production (e-commerce, advertising, editorial) is very important and highly valuedA strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional retouching, compositing, and color-grading work is requiredStrong visual communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectively across concurrent projectsAbility to meet high-volume deadlines Preferred Experience & Skills:Prior data annotation experience Required Technical & Creative Acumen:Deep knowledge of color theory, typography, digital imaging techniques, and print/web production processesPhoto manipulation software (Adobe preferred)Expert-level proficiency in layers, masks, blending modes, curves, levels, and the full range of Photoshop selection toolsUnderstanding of color management (ICC profiles, RGB vs. What You’ll DoImage Manipulation & Annotation Support:Create, edit, and manipulate images to produce high-quality reference data and ground-truth assets used in data annotation pipelinesPerform precise selections, masking, and segmentation of objects within images to support annotation labeling tasks and dataset preparationGenerate realistic image composites, transformations, and variations (e.g., lighting, perspective, occlusion) to expand and diversify training datasetsQuality Assurance & Visual Evaluation:Review and assess AI-generated or AI-edited images for visual accuracy, artifacts, and adherence to annotation guidelinesIdentify and document subtle image quality issues such as color banding, edge bleeding, unnatural compositing, and resolution inconsistencies.
