The successful candidate will teach courses in the field of Animal Sciences (BIOL 351 Introduction to Animal Science, BIOL 351L Introduction to Animal Science Laboratory, BIOL 465 Domestic Animal Nutrition), and, on occasion, Introductory Biology courses (BIOL 101 Biological Principles I, and BIOL 102 Biological Principles II). The Department of Biological Sciences is a multidisciplinary unit of approximately 2,200 undergraduate students, 80 graduate students, 38 tenure-line, and 25 professional track faculty representing a broad range of research areas (www.biol.sc.edu).
