Knowledge and experience in data management ⢠Ability to compile, organize and present statistical data and project, and annual reports ⢠Ability to collaborate with in-demand industry human resource personnel ⢠Ability to offer financial literacy and economic education to SSS-participants ⢠Experience in developing manuals, conducting evaluations, assessments and cohort studies ⢠Knowledge and experience in providing academic, graduate school, career and financial aid advising ⢠Experience in conducting workshops ⢠Knowledge and experience with the challenges that face low-income, first-generation and individuals with disabilities who are struggling academically ⢠Experience in developing student activities that promote student retention and foster a climate that is supportive of student success ⢠Ability to recruit, train, select and supervise student assistants ⢠Experience working with TRIO Programs or other similar projects ⢠Experience in interpreting and complying with federal regulations ⢠Strong organizational, oral and communication skills ⢠Ability and willingness to work irregular and flexible hours ⢠Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. A condition of the grant requires Database Specialist & Academic Advisor candidates to possess a bachelors degree in counseling, higher education, business, social science, or related field, with at least two (2) years of experience in data management.
