Job Summary
HTI is hiring Material Handlers (Forklift Operators) for ZF Transmissions in Gray Court, SC. These are temp-to-hire manufacturing roles with consistent schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for overtime.
What You’ll Do
As a Material Handler / Forklift Operator, you will:
- Deliver raw and purchased materials to production and assembly areas
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment as needed, including:
- Sit-down forklift
- Stand-up forklift
- Reach truck
- Tugger
- Pallet jack (equipment varies by area/site)
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility
- Repack production materials as needed
- Load/unload trolleys manually or with powered assist devices
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues
- Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Complete other duties as assigned
Schedule & Pay
1st Shift — $19.00/hr
2nd Shift — $20.00/hr
3rd Shift — $20.00/hr
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience required
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and stable work history
- Must be able to understand and respond to visual/audible notifications unless otherwise stated by the client
