    Youth Volleyball Instructor / Coach (Part-Time Weekend)

    About the Role

    As a Volleyball Instructor, you will help lead youth practices and game day experiences for athletes ages 9–14.

    Depending on the program, you may lead skill-focused training sessions or coach and manage a team during league games. Our goal is simple: create a positive environment where kids can learn volleyball and enjoy the game.

    What You'll Do

    • Lead fun practices focused on volleyball fundamentals and skill development

    • Coach teams during games, ensuring all players receive fair playing time

    • Referee youth games when needed

    • Encourage teamwork, confidence, and good sportsmanship

    • Help athletes of all skill levels feel included and supported

    • Communicate positively with players and parents

    • Set up and take down fields and equipment before and after programs

    What We're Looking For

    • Experience playing volleyball (recreational, school, or club level)

    • Positive, energetic personality

    • Comfortable leading groups of kids

    • Ability to coach, encourage, and manage a team

    • Reliable and able to commit to the full season (4-6 weeks)

    • Weekend availability required

    Ideal Candidates

    • Former high school or college volleyball players

    • College students studying education, sports, or kinesiology

    • Coaches looking to gain experience

    • Anyone passionate about volleyball and working with kids

    Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
