About the Job:
The Youth Program Manager will play an integral role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of youth programming throughout the organization, including after-school programs, teen clubs, and other specialized youth-development models. This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the AVP of Programs & Data Management and will be based at the corporate headquarters in Rancho Cucamonga with the possibility of a portion of work completed on property when necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Youth Program Manager is responsible for being an expert in youth programming and well versed in program design, development, implementation, data collection and compliance regulations associated with youth programming. The Youth Program Manager is responsible for assessing needs, developing program strategies, and ensuring the delivery of quality programming through planning, evaluating, mentoring/coaching of staff, and developing a curriculum and environment that supports the growth and development of youth. The Youth Program Manager must effectively document, communicate and evaluate the youth programs and make program recommendations/changes based on both the compliance and effectiveness of programming.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in public health, human behavior, psychology, social work or related field is desirable or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Have a minimum of two years of relevant experience within social services, homeless services and/or a supportive/ emergency housing setting.
Demonstrated experience working and managing programs within a social service, supportive/emergency housing or related field providing case management services.
Experience managing programs, working within and demonstrated understanding of unique challenges for vulnerable populations including but not limited to those experiencing homelessness, mentally ill, substance use illness, trauma, and chronic medical needs, is preferred.
Be able and willing to work flexible hours which may include evenings or weekends.
