Church Description: Calvary was founded in 1950 during the oil boom in West Texas. Snyder is a small town with a population of around 11,000. We are located in central West Texas. We are about 90 miles from Lubbock, Abilene, and Midland. Our average Sunday morning attendance is 300-350. Our weekly events include Sunday school, Sunday morning service, Tuesday night young adult service, Wednesday youth, kids, and adult services, and Saturday night Freeway service. Missions is the heart of Calvary. We support several local and foreign mission projects. We love our community and schedule several outreach events each year. the Lord. We are looking for a man of God who meets the requirements of 1 Timothy
3:2-7. It is essential that the applicant be able to take credit for their actions and be
willing to grow from mistakes because mistakes happen.
Though it is not required, it is desired for musical abilities to be numbered on the skill
set of our applicants. We would like for you to have completed a four-year college
degree.
We have an amazing set of workers who are dedicated to serving the Lord by serving
our teens. Leading these people well is a must as you organize them in a structure to
effectively disciple our teens as a well-operating team.
This position is one of understanding the dynamic of a team mentality with our staff and
available to serve across all ministries of the church with a cheerful heart.
Preaching and teaching the Bible not only to teens but also to the adults and effectively
sharing your testimony of how Christ saved you will be a regular practice while working
at Calvary.
Your first ministry is to your family, so we will be looking for a man who leads his house
well, and that includes the care and shepherding of his family.
