About the Role:TGA of the Twin Cities is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Youth Golf Instructor to inspire the next generation of golfers in the southeast Metro! This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your love of golf with the rewarding experience of mentoring and teaching young players in a fun, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:- Instruct youth golfers in fundamental skills including grip, stance, swing mechanics, and course etiquette
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate golf lessons and curriculum for beginner to intermediate junior players
- Supervise and manage groups of youth participants in a safe and positive learning environment
- Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the game
- Communicate progress and feedback to parents and program coordinators
- Set up and break down equipment and instructional materials before and after sessions
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor for youth participants
Requirements:- Experience playing golf with a solid understanding of the game's fundamentals
- Prior experience working with children or youth in a teaching, coaching, or mentoring capacity
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for youth development
- Must be available weekdays between 2:00-8:00pm for afterschool and evening classes
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation to program locations in the Farmington, Cottage Grove and Lakeville, MN area
