    Starting Compensation:

    25.00 - 26.50 USD Per Hour

    Working Location:

    Torrance, CA

    Working Hours/Shift:

    Friday - Monday 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

    What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred

    • Knowledge/experience with dietary procedures and inspections of food service areas for sanitation

    How you will make a difference (job overview):

    Dietary aide is responsible for assisting dietary functions as directed in accordance with established policies and procedures. Will be responsible for preparing and serving meals that are palatable and appetizing to resident clients. The food service in accordance with established portion control procedures that involve cooking, setting up meal trays, food carts, and the delivery of snacks. Assist in daily/scheduled cleaning duties such as dining room tables, sweeping and moping floors, washing and cleaning refrigerator/stoves and utensils. Ensure that safety regulations and precautions are followed.

    • Facility & Setting: 24/7 locked, highly secure inpatient residential campus operating with the highest standards of dignity and care since 1988.

    • Programs: Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF), Community Treatment Facility (CTF), and an on-site Non-Public High School (SBHS).

    • Clinical Services: Multidisciplinary mental health services, Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), and Intensive Day Treatment Program.
