Campbellsville Christian Church is a growing, Christ-centered Christian Church that has been rooted and established in the heart of Taylor County for the past 142 years. Our church is centrally located near the business district of downtown Campbellsville with a weekly attendance of around 190. We exist to lead people to Jesus and into a growing relationship with Him.

We are known for being a church who loves and cares for our community through outreach events, benevolence and partnering community organizations, and who seeks to make a difference by serving the least of these. Located in South-Central Kentucky, we are considered a college-town community of around 12,000 people in the city and about 27,000 in Taylor County.

Available to: women and men

Position type: full-time

Salary: range $48,000-$53,000 with benefits and health insurance

Campbellsville Christian Church is seeking to hire a new full-time Youth and College Minister, someone gifted and called minister to lead, disciple, and invest in the next generation for Christ. This ministry position would focus primarily on leading and serving Middle School (6th-8th), High School (9th-12th), & College age students. We're looking for a godly individual who is relatable, outgoing, and loves spending time and hanging out with students. The ideal candidate is someone who's team-minded, willing to invest/build a quality group of both student/adult volunteers, and ultimately desires to make disciples of Middle/High School and College age students.

Responsibilities include:

  • Student and College Ministry (Love what you do!)

  • Provide oversight and innovation to a healthy/growing Youth and College Ministry.

  • Give leadership & team development for volunteers through ongoing recruitment & training.

  • Supply curriculum direction, training, and lesson planning for on campus and home groups.

  • Provide teaching, coaching, and mentoring for both students, parents, and volunteers.

  • Coordinate consistent activities, spiritual growth opportunities, & outreach in the community.

  • Maintain a close connection with students & parents through media & communication platforms.

  • Help promote/plan/participate in camps, conferences, & events for students.

  • Pastoral (Love the people you serve!)

  • Develop deep relationships with MS/HS/College students by being present with them, attending school functions, and being fully engaged both in the church/community.

  • Be available for prayer and wise counsel for students/parents upon request.

  • Provide shepherding/pastoral care students via home/school/hospital visits when appropriate.

  • Be available to preach and/or teach periodically if applicable.

  • Represent CCC as a minister in the community & as needed for weddings/funerals/etc.

  • Administrative (Love the Church!)

  • Fully participate in all staff, leadership, and team meetings.

  • Help care for and maintain ministry facilities/equipment/materials/environments.

  • Provide budget oversight in ministry focus areas including any purchases/invoices.

  • Coordinate with the church staff any events, activities, or facilities/vehicle usage, etc.

  • Communicate and maintain consistent but flexible work hours both in & out of the office.

  • Be intentionally active through weekly meetings & involvement in community events/activities.
