Position: Yoga Instructor
FLSA Status: Part-Time Non-Exempt
Reports To: Holistic Health Manager
POSITION Description: This position includes the leading group yoga classes and yoga schedule coordination. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide class instruction that is consistent with the class format as scheduled by the Holistic Health Manager
- Monitor and instruct guests during Yoga sessions by educating on correct form and alternative poses
- Monitor class participants, provided one-on-one assistance to correct form and/or provide exercise modifications
- Design and instruct innovative fitness classes to a wide range of clientele and fitness levels
- Greet visitors and direct clients to appropriate areas
- Coordinate with the Holistic Health Manager to ensure that all Yoga related tasks are being completed
- Interact with customers when appropriate, answering questions as needed
- Comply with HIPAA privacy requirements and processes
- Help with the promotion and coordination of yoga participation
- Clean yoga props such as blocks, blankets, straps, and mats
- Ensure the yoga space is clean and tidy
- Recommend stretches for client’s individual needs
- Help track yoga client payments

Education and Experience Requirements: Certified Yoga Instructor
