As an intern with our Tech Build Center, you will build knowledge and experience within one of our core Tech groups, reliable for building, configuring and delivering Tech devices to UP employees. Team members are setup with the methods (training) to support environment as defined by role. Our facility is responsible for several areas, Windows Client, Android Client, Network Infrastructure, and network printers.
You will work out of a secure satellite office and configuration center located in West Omaha, easily accessible via the interstate to both the Omaha and Lincoln college campuses and have extensive contact with peers and interaction with senior leaders. There will also be an opportunity to put leadership, technical skills, and business knowledge to immediate use through high value project assignments.
The estimated wage for this position is between $21 - $28 per hour. Final rate of pay will be based on several factors, including degree program, year of study, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
Occasional lifting, moving, and handling of technology equipment and packages weighing up to 35 pounds may be required.
