DescriptionThe Yard worker is responsible for maintaining the property and equipment at various locations of the organization.Essential FunctionsChecks equipment in or out as neededVerifies that equipment is in good mechanical and safe operating condition upon being taken out or being returnedResponsible for red tagging equipment that needs repairAssists drivers with loadingunloading as necessaryEnsure checks to verify stock levels for reordering are accurate as possibleGet material out ready for the issuing jobPreload all trucks scheduled for delivery the next dayOther duties as requiredRequired Skills and AbilitiesAbility to use basic toolsKnowledge of construction materialsEffective communication and listening skillsAttention to detail highly organized self-starter with ability to prioritize tasksMinimum Qualifications and Required SkillsHigh school diploma or GEDYard work a plus but not requiredForklift experience a plusDays and Hours - Monday through Friday 6am to 4pmPhysical DemandsMust be able to work outdoors subject to inclement weather heatcold year roundThe ability to stand for long periods of time walk push pull climb and be able to movelift up to 50 poundsIf you require sponsorship now or in the future please discuss with recruiting or hiring team during interview process.Benefits PackageMedical Dental Vision Life Ins.
