We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Associate / Forklift Operator to assist with daily warehouse and yard operations at a large 11-acre facility. Location: West Jordan, UT
Schedule: Monday-Friday (some Saturdays)
Hours: 7:00 AM3:30 PM or 8:00 AM4:30 PM
Overtime opportunities are available based on workload
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the yard
- Pull and prepare customer orders accurately using an RF scanner
- Cut pipe and other materials to required measurements
- Accurately use a tape measure and saw
- Operate basic hand and power tools
- Perform inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory
- Load and unload trucks and organize materials in designated areas
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard
- Perform general yard cleanup and other physical duties as needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and equipment guidelines
Requirements
- Forklift certification and previous forklift experience required
- Experience with RF scanners preferred
- Comfortable using saws, tape measures, hand tools, and power tools
- Ability to accurately measure and cut materials
- Ability to repeatedly lift and handle materials weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors and moving throughout a large 11-acre yard
- Strong attention to detail when pulling orders and counting inventory
- Dependable transportation and excellent attendance are essential
