Yard Associate
Location: Idaho Falls, ID
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday Friday
We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Associate to join our team in Idaho Falls. This position plays a key role in maintaining an organized yard, assisting customers and drivers, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the yard.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory management.
- Pull and stage orders accurately for customer pickup and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist customers, drivers, and team members with locating and loading materials.
- Perform routine yard maintenance and general labor duties as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Forklift experience is required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Previous lumber or building materials experience is a plus, but not required.
Schedule Requirements
Hours of operation are 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Employees will work either:
- 7:30 AM 4:30 PM, or
- 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Scheduling will be determined by management. All candidates must have open availability between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
