Title: X- Ray Technologist

Location: Newburgh, NY & Carmel, NY (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract/Part-Time - 2-3 days per week, 08:00am-4:30pm

Compensation:
Pay Range: $40.00 Per HR

Description:
• This position requires a skilled professional to perform radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. 
• The role involves ensuring optimal diagnostic quality and patient care using efficient and safe processes. 
• Travel between Newburgh and Carmel, NY is required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties and providing explanations of treatment.
• Minimize radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques.
• Maintain the production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures.
• Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.

Requirements:
• Knowledge of radiographic examinations and equipment operation.
• Understanding of radiation safety and protection techniques.
• Experience with patient transfers and positioning techniques.
• Ability to travel between Newburgh and Carmel, NY.

Qualifications:
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in applied radiologic science or certification from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Licensed and Registered in the state of New York.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
