    X-Ray Technician — Part-Time


    Poughkeepsie, NY | $35–$40 per Hour

    Join The IMA Group as an X-Ray Technician and bring your skills to a team that values precision, compassion, and work-life balance. This part-time role is based out of our Poughkeepsie office with a predictable schedule — Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM — plus occasional travel to our Middletown location.

     

    You'll play a key role in patient care, performing diagnostic imaging that supports physicians in delivering accurate, timely evaluations. If you're looking for meaningful part-time work with consistent hours and a supportive clinical team, we'd love to hear from you.

     

    What You'll Do

    • Perform X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians
    • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with care and professionalism
    • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in line with safety standards
    • Deliver a positive, comfortable experience for every patient
    • Keep accurate, timely documentation and patient records
    • Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to support diagnoses
    • Travel occasionally between our Poughkeepsie and Middletown offices

    What We're Looking For

    • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
    • Registered Radiologic Technologist with current certification/licensure
    • Completed clinical externship training
    • One or more years of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred
    • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care
    • Access to reliable transportation for travel between office locations
