ABOUT THE JOB:

Are you someone who enjoys solving problems, working with details, and helping customers receive accurate billing? As a Billing Resolution Assistant, youll play a critical role in supporting our billing operations by researching and resolving invoice discrepancies, processing billing adjustments, and ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING:

As a Billing Resolution Assistant, you will:

• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, including pricing issues, container number corrections, returns, and invoice adjustments.
• Review, update, and maintain accurate customer billing records.
• Process credit memos, billing adjustments, and LLW reversals in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Support billing activities for specialized customer accounts, including web billing and account maintenance.
• Collaborate with branch personnel and internal departments to ensure billing issues are resolved accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with reporting, auditing, and documentation activities to support SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Provide exceptional service and support to both internal and external customers.
• Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounting, customer service, or a related field.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with ERP, billing, or financial systems is a plus.
