The Health Center of Standifer Place is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our team. Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed
Provide high-quality, compassionate care in a clinical setting
Qualifications:
Active LPN or RN license (required)
Experience in wound care preferred
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Physical Demands:
Standing/Walking: Able to be on feet standing or walking for 10 hours per day.
Lifting: Able to lift 60-70 lbs on an occasional basis.
Movement: Able to bend, stoop, squat, and twist numerous times a day.
Vision & Hearing: Able to see and hear adequately to respond to auditory and visual requests.
Communication: Able to speak in a clear, concise voice to communicate with patients, including those who may be hearing impaired.
Motor Skills: Able to carry out fine motor skills and demonstrate manual dexterity.
