Wound Care NP Opening in New Mexico, Located in Southeastern New Mexico

Opportunity Healthcare is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a General Surgery role in Eddy County, NM. This position supports a General Surgery team across outpatient clinic, inpatient hospital, and surgical settings. The NP/PA evaluates and manages general surgery patients independently within their scope of practice.

• Setting: Outpatient clinic, inpatient hospital, and surgical environment
• Schedule: 4.5 days per week with one half day dedicated to administrative tasks
• Position type: Direct placement, onsite
• Outpatient duties: Independent patient assessments, pre-operative evaluations, post-operative follow-up, and minor procedures including I&D, lesion excision, and seroma aspiration
• Inpatient duties: Rounds on hospitalized general surgery patients, consultation evaluations, care coordination, and discharge planning
• Surgical duties: First-assist during operative procedures as credentialed, participation in pre- and post-operative patient management
• Salary: $120,000 to $145,000 depending on experience
