POSITION PURPOSE: This position is an entry level position performing duties as a Parts/Inventory Clerk to include issuing, stocking, and tracking of aircraft parts along with shipping and receiving.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

1. At the direction of the Inventory Control Manager, assist in the daily operation of the stock room, including issuing, stocking, shipping, and receiving of aircraft parts.

2. Become proficient in the TFBO software and accurately record all parts transactions in the system.

3. Issue parts to technicians against active Work Orders and ensure all parts are properly documented and charged.

4. Use Worldwide's Bar Code System to scan, label, and track parts in the Parts Department.

5. Receive incoming parts, verify them against packing slips and purchase orders, and route them for receiving inspection.

6. Stock parts in their assigned bin locations and keep the stock room clean and organized.

7. Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and shipping paperwork, in compliance with carrier and HazMat requirements.

8. Process parts returns, core returns, and related paperwork.

9. Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories, reporting any discrepancies to the Inventory Control Manager.

10. Monitor stock levels and notify the Inventory Control Manager of parts that need to be reordered.

11. Communicate with the Shop Manager or his delegate on the status of parts for active Work Orders.

12. Follow established parts processing procedures and maintain conformity with work rules,

regulations, and safety procedures.

13. Provide backup for personnel by fulfilling their function when they are away from their station.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school or equivalent.

· Basic computer and data entry skills.

· Prior parts, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred but not required.

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· Must have good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and staff.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts and paperwork.

· Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

· None

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

· Receiving Inspection

· Repair Station Manual training

· HazMat training

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

· Exposed to typical aircraft maintenance conditions such as engine noise, riveting, dust, and chemical fumes, none of which to the extent of being intolerable.

· Hearing, vision, and breathing protection provided in appropriate areas.

· Working areas naturally ventilated and mechanically heated/cooled when required. Some exposure to elements of weather when travelling and/or commuting between buildings.
