INTERNAL POSTING Katonah -Lewisboro School District Announces the Following Vaca ncy For the 202 6-2027 School Year World Language Teacher (Spanish) Leave Replacement 0.6 FTE Location: John Jay High School Anticipated Start Date: February 1, 202 7, through June 30, 2027 Qualifications: Possess a current NYS Spanish 7 -12 Certification Responsibilities: • Demonstrate strong skills in curriculum and instruction. • Demonstrate skills to teach all levels of Spanish. • Demonstrate enthusiasm for building relationships with students. • Be reflective about teaching practices. • Actively participates in a professional learning community (PLC), engaging in ongoing , collaborative professional learning to refine, and enhance instructional practice. • Works with colleagues to analyze student data, share best practices, and implement research -based str ategies that improve student outcomes. Hours: Full-Time, Temporary Salary : 0.6 of $64,276 - $152,199 as per the KLDTA contract; prorated based on the FTE amount and the start and end date of assignment.
