Description
Workshop Assistant will assemble, pack and ship products and keep shop stocked, neat, clean and efficient.
Approximately 20-hours per week, which can be flexible once trained and able to work independently. Some hours can be on Saturdays or some evenings. We can be flexible with prior planning.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Work safely in the workshop and warehouse.
- Clean and organize shop and warehouse.
- Assemble products and sub components of woodworking tools and accessories for sale on our website.
- Follow written and verbal instructions for each task.
- Lift and move cartons up to 50lbs.
- Recycle carboard and paper as needed.
- Count inventory monthly.
- Track inventory of items to maintain minimum levels.
Qualifications
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Able to lift and move cartons up to 50 pounds.
Positive personal and work references.
Good reading, writing and verbal communication in English.
Honest and trustworthy.
Reliable transportation to get to work on time.
Work well alone and with others.
Computer skills a plus.
