Workplace Associate
Location: San Francisco, CA
Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote (35-hour work week)

About the Opportunity
A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking a Workplace Associate to support daily office operations and facilities coordination in its San Francisco office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating an organized, welcoming workplace environment and thrives in a hands-on administrative and facilities-focused position.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day office operations and workplace support
Coordinate facilities requests, office maintenance, and vendor relationships
Process invoices and maintain office supply inventory
Serve as the point of contact for office repairs and workplace requests through a ticketing system
Support emergency preparedness, evacuation plans, and workplace safety procedures
Partner with HR and IT to support employee onboarding, office moves, and workplace needs
Assist with creating a positive and engaging office experience for employees and visitors
Help coordinate office events, engagement activities, and employee gatherings
Qualifications
2+ years of office, administrative, workplace, facilities, or operations experience preferred
Recent college graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with vendors and coordinating office logistics is a plus
Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
Technical Skills
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
Experience with workplace management or ticketing systems is a plus (training available)
Work Environment
Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Typical hours: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Occasional overtime may be required to support larger office events
