Newtown Bagel Co is looking for an energetic and passionate Restaurant Manager / Shift Lead to join our team in Newtown, PA! Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth, efficient shift performance
• Lead, motivate, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house team members
• Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care
• Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and end-of-shift reporting
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking as needed
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations
• Train and onboard new team members to uphold Newtown Bagel Co standards

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in restaurant management, shift leadership, or a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and team-building skills in a fast-paced food service environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with cash handling, POS systems, and basic reporting
• Knowledge of food safety standards and ServSafe certification (preferred)
• Ability to work early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed
• Reliable, punctual, and able to lead by example on the floor
