JOB FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the Manager, HR Operations and Analytics, the Workforce Operations Analyst supports HR leaders by delivering workforce insights, maintaining workforce and organizational data integrity, and enabling the effective use of HR systems, reporting tools, and related processes.
Responsible for analyzing, developing, and managing workforce data, reports, and analytics that support staffing strategies, workforce planning, operational decision-making, and HR service delivery. The position combines workforce analytics, position and vacancy analysis, data management, and process support responsibilities to deliver meaningful insights and help drive data-informed decisions across the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop and maintain workforce dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that provide visibility into workforce trends, turnover, organizational demographics, workforce movement, and other key workforce metrics. Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate results into actionable insights that support workforce planning, operational decision-making, and HR service delivery. Develop reporting solutions, visualizations, and presentations that enable leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions. Support regulatory and compliance reporting activities, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action Plan (AAP), VEVRAA, workforce demographics, and other workforce reporting requirements, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Support departmental and enterprise workforce planning activities by conducting staffing analyses, maintaining and monitoring approved staffing levels and position inventories, performing position audits, vacancy reviews, organizational assessments, and workforce forecasting. Partner with HR leaders, Finance, Organizational Development & Learning, and business stakeholders to evaluate workforce needs, identify trends, support succession planning efforts, and provide insights that inform staffing strategies and organizational effectiveness.
Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of workforce and organizational data across HR systems and reporting platforms. Support data governance activities, audits, compliance reporting requirements, and data validation efforts while partnering with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to resolve data issues and improve data quality. Assist with reporting automation, system enhancements, testing activities, documentation, and process improvements that strengthen operational efficiency and reporting effectiveness.
Support HR initiatives, cross-functional projects, workforce-related programs, and ad hoc analysis requests as assigned. Provide workforce metrics, reporting, and decision support to HR leadership and stakeholders. Participate in Company emergency response activities as assigned, including activities required to prepare for and respond to business emergencies.
