The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in legal matters, conducting thorough research, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Duties
- Taking depositions of physicians and medical providers
- Handling hearings
- Updating the case management system
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Conduct legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case strategies.
- Litigate cases in court as necessary, presenting evidence and arguments effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations impacting client interests.
- Communicate with clients regarding case progress and legal options available.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive legal support.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in litigation and negotiation is preferred.
- Excellent research skills with proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
