    About the Role

    The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in workers’ compensation litigation, including trial involvement, and a strong commitment to client advocacy. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced legal professionals, manage a dynamic caseload, and contribute to successful case outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Client Representation: Advise clients on legal options and develop effective case strategies.
    • Legal Research & Drafting: Prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
    • Court Advocacy: Represent clients in hearings and legal proceedings.
    • Case Management: Oversee a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective legal action.

    Qualifications

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
    • 3-5 years of experience in workers’ compensation and longshore law.
    • Prior experience in a law firm setting.
    • Strong legal research, writing, and document preparation skills.
    • Proficiency in legal software and research tools.
    • Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
