Roth Law Group PLLC is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join our team in White Plains, NY. Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from intake through resolution
- Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and proceedings before the Workers' Compensation Board
- Draft and review legal documents, motions, briefs, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and stay current on New York workers' compensation law and regulations
- Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and insurance carriers
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for maximum client benefits
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the New York State Bar
- Prior experience in workers' compensation, personal injury, or related practice area required
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with strong organizational skills
- Compassionate, client-focused demeanor with a commitment to zealous representation
