Location: onsite Austin, TX
Prioritizing candidates with Workday Financials Reporting Certification, its not ideal if they don't have certification but I guess let's see what we get. I would waive the cert requirement if they had clear experience divulged in resume. Open to candidates that are remote but able to travel 1x per quarter to Austin. As of now, 1 candidate is shortlisted in Beeline thus far.
Location StrategyFirst Preference- Candidate located in Austin
- Five days onsite at the Austin office
- No hybrid schedule for local candidates
Second Preference- Remote candidate located in the Central time zone
- Must work Central time-zone hours

Must-Have Skills- Four to six years of Workday financial reporting experience
- Must have developed financial reports specifically within Workday
- Must understand accounting and finance concepts and principles

About the Role
Amazon Worldwide Grocery Stores Finance is seeking a Workday Reporting Developer to join our FinTech Innovations Team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Workday reporting solutions, driving analytics strategy, and ensuring data integrity across financial systems. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-impact reporting that supports business decision-making.
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain Workday reports using Report Writer, Advanced Reports, dashboards, and calculated fields
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across Workday reporting and analytics
• Support ad hoc analytics requests with a focus on business impact, clarity, and scalability
• Collaborate with downstream systems as needed to ensure the accurate integration of data
• Lead the development and documentation of business requirements for relevant systems and processes
• Manage implementation, hypercare periods, and user adoption initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain system documentation
• Provide incident response and resolution for system outages, bugs, and errors
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of relevant Workday Finance and Accounting reporting experience, including Prism and/or Tableau (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)
• Workday certification or commitment to completing relevant Workday certification upon joining
• Deep understanding of financial reporting and planning processes and systems
• Solid working knowledge of Workday security roles and how they impact reporting and data access
• Technical proficiency with Excel and reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Experience processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources.
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong storytelling, dashboard design, and executive communication skills
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights)
• Prior retail and/or grocery industry experience
