We are hiring for a Workday HCM Payroll Lead opportunity.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Payroll Lead to lead the design, configuration, testing, and delivery of the Workday Payroll workstream for a higher education or government client.

The ideal candidate will have prior hands on Workday Payroll experience and strong functional knowledge of Payroll. The candidate will work closely with clients and project teams to understand requirements, demonstrate Workday capabilities, document design decisions, configure the application, support testing and rollout, and provide knowledge transfer to client teams.

• Experience leading Workday Payroll workstreams
• Experience with Workday Payroll design and configuration
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Experience documenting requirements and design decisions
• Experience supporting Workday Payroll testing and rollout
• Experience demonstrating Workday Payroll features to clients
• Experience providing knowledge transfer to client teams
• Ability to lead and support Payroll team members

• Workday Payroll Certification

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and delivery of the Workday Payroll workstream
• Provide functional expertise and guidance for Workday Payroll
• Demonstrate Workday Payroll functionality and software features to clients
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements
• Document requirements, configuration decisions, and solution designs
• Configure Workday Payroll based on approved requirements and designs
• Support end to end testing and rollout activities
• Develop and execute Payroll testing scenarios
• Plan and execute Payroll Compare activities
• Communicate Payroll Compare results, gaps, and next steps to the client
• Support the identification and resolution of Payroll gaps
• Provide knowledge transfer to the client team
• Support Payroll team members and provide functional guidance
• Participate in cutover planning and provide Payroll related input
• Collaborate with project teams and client stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Support successful delivery of the Workday Payroll workstream

Education Requirement

• Relevant education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
