Position: Workday HCM Core Consultant
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Location: Remote
Pay rate: $50 per hour
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary onsite functional lead supporting Workday HCM production.
- Partner closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, and IT stakeholders.
- Manage production incidents, service requests, and system enhancements.
- Lead root cause analysis and coordinate resolution across functional and technical teams.
- Provide governance for Workday configuration changes.
- Review and approve solution designs for functional enhancements.
- Coordinate testing activities for Workday releases and production deployments.
- Monitor production health and recommend continuous improvements.
- Support post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Mentor offshore and nearshore AMS teams.
Required Qualifications / Must-Haves
- Bachelor''s degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 6-10+ years of Workday HCM functional experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
o Core HCM
o Business Processes
o Security
o Organizations
o Position Management
o Supervisory Organizations
o Reporting
- Experience leading Workday production support.
- Experience interacting directly with business stakeholders.
- Strong incident management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multiple Workday certifications.
- Experience leading AMS or Managed Services teams.
- Experience with Workday implementations and post-production stabilization.
- Experience supporting global HR organizations.
- Knowledge of ITIL service management practices
