Workday Financial Analyst

You will partner closely with Finance stakeholders and play a critical role in configuration, testing, and deployment across key Workday Financials modules within a healthcare environment. We are seeking a Workday Financials Analyst with strong full lifecycle implementation experience to support a large-scale Workday Financials initiative.

Workday Financial Analyst
We are seeking a Workday Financials Analyst with strong full lifecycle implementation experience to support a large-scale Workday Financials initiative. This is a hands-on functional role responsible for driving Finance system enhancements from design through go-live and post-production support.
You will partner closely with Finance stakeholders and play a critical role in configuration, testing, and deployment across key Workday Financials modules within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end implementation of Workday Financials, with a focus on:

• Core Financials
• Cash Management
• Fixed Assets

• Translate business requirements into functional designs and system configurations
• Execute and support testing efforts, including:

• Test script development
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Defect tracking and resolution

• Manage system enhancements and changes from initiation through deployment
• Collaborate closely with Finance leadership and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
• Support reporting, documentation, and end-user training

Core Skills & Expertise

• Workday Financials experience across:

• General Ledger
• Cash Management
• Accounts Payable
• Customer Accounts
• Fixed Assets

• Proven experience with full lifecycle Workday implementations
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial processes
• Hands-on experience with UAT, test scripts, and defect resolution
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience implementing Workday Financials
• Workday Financials Certification(s) preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to end-to-end implementations
• Strong functional expertise (beyond technical configuration)
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders
• Prior experience in healthcare or a similar regulated industry preferred
