Job Title: Workday Analyst 
Duration: 4 Months with possible extension
Location: Hybrid (60% onsite) in Minneapolis, MN or Charolotte, NC

Job Description
The HR Product team is hiring an experienced Workday Analyst for Recruiting and Onboarding. This person will have a primary focus on enhancement configuration in Workday Recruiting and Onboarding. Working as part of an Agile team who is also responsible for executing against a defined and prioritized product backlog to deliver on business vision and priorities. In this position you will be responsible for the design, configuration, testing and delivery of system capabilities to enhance candidate, employee, recruiter, and stakeholder experiences, promoting cross functional collaboration to drive innovation while working in an agile framework to deliver the highest value. This role will be expected to lead efforts and coordination with other product groups for cross functional configuration, activities, and testing, resulting in implementing features and delivering outcomes. This role will also participate in or facilitate sessions to design the automation of business processes, business rules and workflows that are scalable to allow for rapidly changing experiences and strategies. Recognizes the needs of business customers, identifies the outcomes to achieve, identifies gaps and potential fits, participates in release and product planning while managing delivery expectations.

This person will provide technology input to product roadmaps for HR strategic web and mobile platforms including but not limited to Workday, Phenom CRM Platform, and Jira. Conducts evaluations of new applications, modules or vendors including defining business and technical requirements, creating comparisons of multiple solutions, identifying fit gaps and managing the requests for proposal process. Collaborates with leadership, IT, functional stakeholders, global experience owners and service center teams to shape and design positive stakeholder experiences. Researches and minimizes reported problems or pain points within HR platforms, drives resolution of issues, analyzes security issues, and recommends corrective and proactive action in partnership with the stakeholders and vendors. Researches and analyzes product adoption, successes, and opportunities for future enhancements. Participates, facilitates and/or manages all technology testing including defining and executing automated testing scripts.

This role will serve as a functional administrator and subject matter expert for Workday Recruiting and Onboarding, ensuring system configuration, security, reporting, integrations, and operational processes are maintained in alignment with business needs, compliance requirements, and HR technology governance standards. The administrator will partner closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, IT, Legal, Compliance, and vendor partners to support end-to-end recruiting and onboarding capabilities, resolve production issues, evaluate enhancement requests, document configuration decisions, and support change management and user adoption.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer engineering, human resources or equivalent work experience
- 5 or more years of relevant technical experience in Workday
- Hands-on experience administering Workday Recruiting and/or Onboarding, including business process configuration, security, reporting, testing, and production support

Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Global configuration experience in Workday
- Advanced experience in requirement gathering, design, prototype, and testing of Workday Recruiting and onboarding solutions according to customer requirements.
- Strong knowledge in I-9 processes, onboarding administration tasks, journeys, and job application dynamic process configuration
- Experience working in an agile team
- Ability to execute in a scrum environment.
- Experience working with Jira, Phenom CRM platform, E-Verify
- Advanced understanding and demonstrated abilities to support analysis, drive automation, make process recommendations and technical changes of current and future product development.
- Advanced knowledge of technology desktop software and tools (e.g. Microsoft office suite, Windows infrastructure), industry trends and tools and key enterprise software
- Knowledge of HR functions and business rules including payroll, compensation, recruiting and staffing practices and benefits
- Proven experience in configuration and design of complex workflows and business rules
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience maintaining Workday Recruiting configuration, including job requisitions, candidate stages, interview processes, offer processes, job application business processes, questionnaires, notifications, templates, and condition rules
- Knowledge of Workday security administration concepts, including domain and business process security, role-based access, segregation of duties, and confidential recruiting data handling
- Experience supporting Workday releases, regression testing, tenant validation, defect triage, documentation, and change control processes
- Strong understanding of data integrity, audit controls, compliance considerations, and HRIS governance practices related to recruiting, onboarding, I-9, E-Verify, and candidate data
- Experience partnering with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, Legal, Compliance, and vendors to translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable Workday solutions
- Ability to provide end-user support, develop job aids or documentation, facilitate training, and promote adoption of recruiting and onboarding technology changes
