Job Description :
A Workday Advanced Compensation Analyst is responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining compensation processes within the Workday system. This role partners with HR, Finance, and leadership to ensure compensation programs are accurate, competitive, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday Configuration & Administration
- Configure and maintain Advanced Compensation modules in Workday
- Build and manage compensation cycles (merit, bonus, stock, etc.)
- Maintain eligibility rules, guidelines, and business processes
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing system support
Compensation Planning & Execution
- Support annual and off-cycle compensation reviews
- Ensure accurate budget allocation and adherence to compensation guidelines
- Partner with HR Business Partners and leadership on compensation strategies
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards
- Analyze compensation trends, pay equity, and market competitiveness
- Audit compensation data for accuracy and compliance
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the liaison between HR, Finance, and IT teams
- Train managers and HR users on compensation tools and processes
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compensation practices comply with internal policies and external regulations
- Support audits and documentation requirements
Required Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in compensation, HRIS, or Workday
- Hands-on experience with Workday Advanced Compensation module
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Experience with HR data reporting and visualization
Bonus/Soft Skills :
- Workday certification in Advanced Compensation
- Experience with pay equity analysis or market benchmarking
- Familiarity with compensation tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer)
- Knowledge of HR compliance and regulatory requirements
