Accounts Payable Supervisor
Location: Worthington, Ohio (Hybrid Schedule)
Compensation: Up to $50,000 annually
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee daily AP operations for a growing organization in the Worthington area. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to lead a team, ensure accurate and timely payment processing, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day accounts payable activities and workflow
- Review and approve invoices, payment batches, and vendor reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments
- Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Train, mentor, and support accounts payable staff
- Assist with month-end close and reporting activities
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies
- Utilize Workday to process transactions, maintain records, and generate reports
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Hands-on experience with Workday required
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
