Position Title Work Study - Part-Time Student Receptionist - Counseling Center Student Status Work Study Required- You are required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position. Work Location Springfield Campus Department Counseling Center Hiring Range $15/hr. Sponsorship Information
Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
Department/Employer Operating Hours 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday How many hours per week are required? 8-10 Description of Primary Duties
Receptionist duties - answering phones, transferring calls to appropriate staff or other University departments, taking messages, scheduling appointments with counselors; office duties such as preparing/updating documents, creating/updating flyers for outreach, updating bulletin boards, other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Professional, personable, and calm demeanor dealing with students, staff, faculty, and others who contact the Counseling Center by phone or those who walk in. Office experience preferred. Excellent skills in customer service, office machine experience 2.5 minimum GPA
