Are you looking for a flexible on-campus job that fits your class schedule? Join the Bismarck State College Dining Services team and gain valuable hands-on experience while helping create exceptional dining experiences for the campus and community at the Bavendick.

What Youll Do

You will assist the Bismarck State College day and/or evening dining services department with the food service process at the Bavendick.

Hourly Rate: $16.00/hour

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with routine food preparation and serving as needed
  • Assist with concessions setup
  • Assist with stocking the beverage cooler, chips, and candy as needed
  • Assist in maintaining the dishwasher and the dish return area
  • Operate the cash register in recording the sale of food items
  • Operate various kitchen equipment and cleaning equipment
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the work area
  • Maintain required safety and health standards
  • Support innovation, creativity, and ideas to improve/enhance processes, functions, etc., in the department and as a whole for the college
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Currently enrolled student at Bismarck State College
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Food service experience
