    • Pay Rate: $20.50/Hr
    Job Summary:
    The Work Area Lead is responsible for a small sub-area of distribution, overseeing employee training, daily output, inventory accuracy, and order quality to meet daily shipping targets across retailer and stock transfer orders. This role ensures operational efficiency, quality compliance, and alignment with safety and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
    Work Schedule:
    •  4:00PM – 12:30AM
    • Overtime required as needed
    Work Location:
    Northtec PADC
    300 Crossings Drive (Primary)
    Bristol, PA 19007
    (Work may also be performed at 200 Crossings Drive)
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Assign employees to workstations and prioritize workload based on daily pickup times.
    • Ensure team members meet productivity goals and escalate concerns to the supervisor as needed.
    • Train new employees on safety procedures and departmental work instructions.
    • Inspect and audit orders or finished goods for accuracy and quality using appropriate systems.
    • Provide quality standards for order/material handlers to ensure product accuracy.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies; escalate when necessary.
    • Lead investigations of issues affecting KPIs and participate in non-conformance investigations.
    • Assist supervisor with random audits, document results, and verify processes to drive Zero Defect initiatives.
    • Support Root Cause analysis of quality and accuracy issues and recommend corrective actions.
    • Perform clerical duties including record keeping, reporting, and daily performance recaps; input information into computer systems.
    • Follow all safety and GMP standards.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.
    Required Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
    • Demonstrated leadership ability.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to work overtime as needed.
    • Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
    Nice-to-Have Experience:
    • Minimum of one year Distribution or Quality Coordinator experience preferred.
    • Experience with MS Office and SAP preferred.
    Required Skills:
    • Team leadership and delegation
    • Inventory accuracy and quality inspection
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities to drive KPIs
    Preferred Skills:
    • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • SAP experience
    • Root Cause analysis and process improvement
    • Knowledge of safety and GMP standards
    Additional Skills from Original Description:
    • Good communication skills with demonstrated knowledge of English (reading and writing)
    • Basic arithmetic skills
    • Ability to navigate computer systems including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and Intranet
    • Experience using calculator, personal computer, and quality manufacturing equipment
    • Strong documentation and reporting skills
    • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
