Job Summary: This position works under the direction of the Head Coach in providing direction to student-athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. To value and promote the worth of each participant while effectively leading players and staff to achieve their individual and collective potential. The work assists the superintendent toward the accomplishment of the mission of the Woodland Public Schools of preparing students for career, life, and college so that they can become responsible and compassionate citizens. Work is performed under the direction of the Head Coach, Principal, and Athletic Director.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as to read handwritten or typed material, and the ability to adjust focus. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. Work is predominantly in athletic rooms and outside on athletic field(s). Temperature normal climate, occasional adverse weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
