NYMD Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) to join our growing women's health practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing comprehensive gynecologic and preventive care to women in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive women's health evaluations and annual well-woman examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions.
- Provide contraception counseling and family planning services.
- Evaluate and treat menopause-related conditions.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
- Current Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (WHNP-BC) required.
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum of 2 years of women's health or gynecology experience preferred.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
Only candidates certified as Women's Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNP-BC) will be considered. Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioners (ANP), and other NP specialties are not eligible for this position.
