Job Description
We are hiring an Automotive Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in the Passenger Car domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical schematics, wiring harness design, formboard development, and vehicle-level troubleshooting and testing.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support electrical system design, validation, and issue resolution across automotive programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, review, and interpret automotive electrical schematics
- Develop and validate wiring harness designs and formboards
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and testing at component and vehicle level
- Support system integration, validation, and testing activities
- Analyze electrical issues and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams
- Prepare technical documentation and reports
Required Skills
- Experience in Automotive - Passenger Car domain
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Schematics
- Hands-on experience with Wiring Harness & Formboard design
- Expertise in Troubleshooting and Testing of automotive electrical systems
- Understanding of vehicle electrical architecture
- Good communication and documentation skills
Qualifications
- BE / BTech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automotive Engineering
- Experience in automotive OEM or Tier-1 environment is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with automotive tools (CATIA, Capital, Zuken, E3, etc.)
- Knowledge of automotive standards and validation processes
- Exposure to vehicle testing or manufacturing environments
