    Description

Join Amazon"s Network Access Technology team and build automation that keeps the world"s largest enterprise wireless network running smoothly and healing itself. You"ll design and deploy next-generation access infrastructure across thousands of global sites, solving complex problems at massive scale while your work directly enables every package Amazon delivers.

Your primary focus is building automation that makes our global wireless network self-sufficient and resilient. You"ll analyze patterns across thousands of sites, develop workflows that resolve issues without human intervention, and validate new hardware before it reaches production environments.

You partner with firmware, field operations, and infrastructure engineers-pressure-testing designs and influencing decisions through data-driven insights. You"ll mentor newer engineers, conduct technical reviews, and occasionally visit sites for hands-on validation and troubleshooting.

No two weeks look the same, but the constant is this: you"re solving complex problems at unprecedented scale, and your work directly impacts the reliability of our fulfillment network worldwide.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Design and Deploy Network Solutions: Lead the design, development, and deployment of network access solutions spanning wireless (Wi-Fi 5/6/6E/7), wired (802.1X, NAC), and emerging network access technologies across Amazon"s global fulfillment network.
    • Own End-to-End Project Delivery: Take ownership of complex, multi-milestone network engineering projects from requirements gathering through deployment and validation, ensuring alignment with internal processes and stakeholder expectations.
    • Build Automation and Tooling: Develop and enhance automation frameworks for network configuration, compliance validation, and zero-touch deployment pipelines that reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
    • Enable Self-Healing Operations: Contribute to our automation platform by developing automated remediation workflows, anomaly detection models, and predictive maintenance capabilities for wireless infrastructure.
    • Drive Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with engineering, field operations, network operations, and program management teams to develop solutions that balance performance, cost, and operational simplicity while validating new device types and configurations.

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
