Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Wire Processing Operator to support a wire and cable manufacturing team. This position involves operating an AccuteX wire-cutting machine to process wire according to work orders, cutting instructions, and customer specifications. Responsibilities include reviewing job requirements, using a computer to enter and verify processing information, loading materials, monitoring machine operation, and checking finished wire for correct length and overall quality. The operator will use a ruler to verify measurements, identify and report discrepancies, and keep completed materials organized and accurately labeled. Additional duties include recording production information, maintaining material traceability, and following established safety and housekeeping procedures. Training on the equipment is available for someone who understands manufacturing processes and can follow a job accurately from setup through final inspection.
